i-glue
I-GLUE exerts an adhesive, sealing, haemostatic, sclerosing, embolizing and bacteriostatic action on the tissues.
It is used in traditional and laparoscopic surgery and in digestive endoscopy, interventional radiology and vascular neuroradiology treatments.
In the ophthalmological field it is used for:
- surgeries for the treatment of pterygias
- repair of corneal lesions
- sealing of corneal perforations
- closure of leaks from traumatic eye injuries
- surgery for scleral fixation lenses
- keratoplasty
- closure of the scleral flap
It can be applied alone or in combination with sutures even on patients treated with heparin and in hypothermia.
I-GLUE is a glue for ophthalmic use with marked hemostatic and adhesive properties which, once solidified, creates an effective antiseptic barrier against the most common infectious or pathogenic agents in surgical interventions
